SFRA Knowledge Transfer Workshops
Terms and Conditions of Knowledge Transfer Workshop Programme
Confirmation of Places
You are requested to complete our workshop registration form, available on the website page for each programme, or by contacting Noreen O'Donnell, SFRA, N.ODonnell@hw.ac.uk
Provisional confirmation of your place, together with payment options and instructions, will be sent to you within 6 working days of receipt of the relevant registration form. Places are only fully confirmed upon receipt of payment in full.
To secure your place, we recommend that you arrange for payment to be made as soon as possible and, in any case no less than 10 working days in advance of the workshop date. We will generally set a maximum number of places for each course to ensure the best quality of experience for participants.
Cancellation Policies
- A full refund will be made for cancellations provided we are notified between 3 weeks and 1 week prior to the start of the workshop.
- For cancellations notified between 1 week and 2 days prior to the start of workshop, a 50% refund will be made.
- No refunds will be made for cancellations or no-shows 1 day before or on the day of the workshop.
- If the registered participant is unable to attend the workshop, a substitute from the same organisation may attend in his/her place, provided adequate notice is provided. Full details of the nominated substitute must be provided by email at least 2 days in advance of the workshop.
Workshop Programme
SFRA course leaders will make every effort to cover the course syllabus as advertised, but no guarantees can be given that all topics will be covered within the time constraints of the workshop. Course leaders may adapt the pace and content of the workshop on the day.
Cancellation of Course
In the event that the SFRA is forced to cancel the event, due to illness, injury or any other reason, workshop fees will be refunded in full. No other financial liability will be accepted.
Workshop Fees
Fees are per person and are quoted and payable in £s. Fees are posted on the website page for each workshop and are also noted on the registration form. The fee will include lunch and refreshments onsite on the day of the workshop. A limited number of places at the discounted rate quoted will be made available to full-time academics or students, at the discretion of the SFRA.
